Checks will eventually fade out and be taken over by the Eppicard, the new way of receiving state payments for child support. Your new form of payment will be received directly and instantly from the state on a monthly basis. You can then take your EppiCard and use it in the same way you would use a normal debit card.

This means paying for goods in shops, to using an ATM. You cannot get additional credit added to your account so can only spend the current balance. Each state has its own specific card and minor rule changes in regards to how the cards are used. To check your states guide log on to the Eppicard site and select your region.

� Can I check my balance at an ATM? Yes, simply insert your card and follow onscreen directions.

� Will ATM’s charge me? Some ATM’s will charge you for the pleasure. Check which ATM’s are free by consulting your states EppiCard guide.

� How do I get a replacement card? Call Eppicard customer services to organize a replacement which will take 7 – 10 working days to arrive.

� What do I do if my card is lost or stolen? Call customer services immediately. They will ensure that your card is stopped from unauthorized use.
