How to Save Money and Have a Green Christmas

December 8th, 2008 Filed under: Uncategorized — Finance Author

As Christmas rapidly approaches during these tough economic times, green gifts have become fashionable. Use your money two-fold by getting your loved one a gift that helps the environment and allows them to save money. They are gifts that will be treasured for many years to come.

This tactic also allows you to save money on your electric bill. By cutting your electric bill, supply and demand fundamentals dictate that you are also lowering every other Americans electric bill. So helping others to save electricity is beneficial to the planet and to all of us.

We should all do our part to conserve water to save our environment and our wallets.

Below is a list of green gifts that will benefit the gift giver, the planet as well as the receiver. When the economy gets tough we have to use our money more wisely. Anytime your money can be used two-fold, it is a wise choice and well spent.

Thanks for the excellent information. I might add a few more options I’ve come across:

The H2GO RC car is a great toy for kids, it’s a remote control car that runs off water.

Clothing made from bamboo fabric is also a sound alternative to traditional fabrics; it’s harvested and manufactured through natural means.

When I first started reading your post I was wondering how there could be enough ideas for energy-saving green gifts to actually write about. Well, you surprised and impressed me with your comprehensive list!

I’d like to add a product to your list that you may not be aware of – the PowerwoRx e3. It’s a whole-house surge protector that conserves energy, saves money and protects your electronic equipment and appliances. You can learn more here – http://tinyurl.com/4j8t5b.

    Excellent post!

That is a wise blog. I imply it. You have a lot information about this situation, and so much enthusiasm. You also understand how to make folks rally behind it, of course through the responses. Youve got a design and style right here thats not as well flashy, but makes a statement as big as what youre declaring. Wonderful position, certainly.

My spouse and i got really joyful when John managed to conclude his analysis with the ideas he gained while using the blog. It’s not at all simplistic just to find yourself offering concepts which often most people might have been trying to sell. And we figure out we have got the writer to appreciate for this. These explanations you have made, the easy blog menu, the relationships you assist to engender – it is most powerful, and it’s letting our son and us recognize that that content is entertaining, and that’s especially serious. Thank you for all!
